Accessibility Statement
What we have built into this site so it works for everyone, what we know is not yet good enough, and how to tell us when we have got something wrong.
1. Our commitment
A website about buying a home should be usable by everyone who might live in one. We build this site to be readable, navigable and operable regardless of how you use a computer, and we would rather be told about a problem than assume there are none.
2. The standard we aim at
We build against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2 at Level AA. We describe this site as partially conformant, which means most of it meets the standard but it has not yet been through a formal independent audit and some parts may fall short.
We have chosen to say that plainly rather than claim full conformance, which is a claim almost no website can honestly make.
3. What is built in
- Keyboard navigation. Every link, button and form field can be reached and operated with a keyboard, in a logical order, with a visible focus outline.
- Skip to content. A skip link appears on first tab so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
- Colour contrast. Body and heading text is tested against its background. Gold is never used for small text, which is why a darker bronze exists for links and labels.
- Text alternatives. Photographs carry descriptive alt text. Decorative drawings are hidden from screen readers rather than read out as noise.
- Semantic structure. Real headings in order, real lists, real landmarks, so a screen reader can navigate by structure.
- Reduced motion. If your device asks for reduced motion, animations and scroll effects are switched off.
- Touch targets. Interactive elements are at least 44 by 44 pixels on touch devices.
- Resizable text. The site is built in relative units and remains usable when text is enlarged to 200 percent.
- No motion traps. Nothing flashes, auto-plays with sound, or moves in a way that cannot be stopped.
4. Known limitations
Being honest about these is more useful than a blanket claim.
- No independent audit yet. Testing so far has been automated and manual by us, not by a third-party specialist or by users of assistive technology.
- Decorative illustrations. The compass and building drawings carry meaning visually that is also written in the text beside them, but a screen reader user gets the text only.
- Third-party content. If we add a map or video in future, its accessibility will partly depend on the provider.
- Documents. Any PDF we publish in future, such as a specification, will need its own accessibility work. We will not treat a PDF as a substitute for accessible web content.
5. If something does not work
Tell us. Describe what you were trying to do, what happened, and what you were using, and we will fix it or find you another way to get what you needed.

6. Getting information another way
If any part of this site is not accessible to you, ask and we will provide the same information in another format, by email, by phone, or in person at our office in Baner. Nobody should have to fight a website to find out about a home.
7. Review
This statement was prepared on 23 July 2026 and reflects the site as built on that date. We review it whenever the site changes materially, and we intend to commission an independent audit before the first project is marketed.
